Shockwaves are reverberating around Spanish and world football in the wake of a kiss during the medal awards ceremony at the Women's World Cup. Spanish football federation president Luis Rubiales shocked global television audiences when he grabbed Spanish forward Jenni Hermoso's head and firmly kissed her on the lips. Rubiales has refused to resign, despite many calls for him to do so. Ms Hermoso said: "I believe no person, in any work, sport or social setting should be a victim of this type of non-consensual behaviour. I felt vulnerable and a victim of an impulse-driven, sexist, out-of-place act, without any consent on my part." She added: "Quite simply, I was not respected."

Mr Rubiales maintains he did nothing wrong. He said the kiss was simply a spur-of-the-moment reaction due to being caught up in the emotion of Spain's World Cup success. He apologized for the kiss in a press statement on Monday. Spain's Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez said the apology was 'not enough'". Other ministers called for Rubiales to resign. The Spanish football federation are backing Rubiales. They are taking legal action against Ms Hermoso over her "lies". On Saturday, Spain's entire coaching staff, except for manager Jorge Vilda, resigned over the row. Football's world governing body FIFA have provisionally suspended Rubiales for 90 days pending an investigation into the kiss.

Project. Writing my scrapbook.

What's a  scrapbook?

Sometimes we do not know what to say in diaries. People tend to think that diaries are just about your routines. But that can be really boring. We'll do something funnier. In our diaries we will use the scrapbook technique. Mixins diaries with the scrapbook technique will help us to be more open and creative. 

Here are some tips that will guide you in your writing and creative process. 

1- Start by writing the date. Include and least two entries per week. In each entry you may tackle just one or different things: ideas, descriptions of situations you have seen , comments of the news, on your discoveries, on your interests...etc.

2- Format. PDF or Power Point. Add text and pictures and then upload it  to aules.

IS LONELINESS ALWAYS A BAD THING? 

Another idea for your diary. Read the text and then write your ideas about how loneliness affect society now. Some call it a pandemia. Do you agree? 

Many people around the world stay at home and do not want to go out. They cut themselves off from the world outside. They are recluses … people who do not want to meet other people. The government in South Korea has thought of an idea to encourage these people to "re-enter society". It will pay young people $500 a month to leave their home. The monthly payment will be for lonely people aged nine to 24 years old who come from poorer families. The Ministry of Gender Equality and Family said it wants to help younger people. It said it wants young people to go out. This will support their "psychological and emotional stability, and healthy growth".

There are many reasons for people not wanting to leave the house. The number of recluses has gone up because of the pandemic. Korea says about 3.1 per cent of young Koreans are reclusive. They "have noticeable difficulty in living a normal life". The government said children shut themselves off from society for many reasons. These include bullying, exam stress, family problems, bad parenting and technology and social media. It said the $500-a-month payment will help these young people. This means they could be less likely to have mental problems. They will also be healthier. Korea has an ageing society. It needs young people to work so they can help old people.

WRITING (diary) 

The book I'm reading now is "La història dels vertebrats" by Mar Garcia Puig. The day she gave birth to her two children should have been  the happiest in her life. According to social's belief, that's how things should be. On the contrary anxiety got hold of her and turned her personal experience into a nightmare. In this book she tells her story but also the stories of those mothers who, in recorded history,  have had a disturbing experience of motherhood.
